Visit The Majilis Gallery located in a traditional Arabic house in the old Bastakiya district in Bur Dubai. The gallery hosts a variety of exhibitions by contemporary artists, plus has an extensive range of craft products such as handmade glass, pottery and fabrics. For more of a launching point for artists to present their work, the Art Attack Gallery shows works from artists from the Middle East, Africa, India and Europe among others.

Relax with a cruise along The Creek, the waterway which divides the city in two parts and provides an exceptional way to view the picturesque historical center of this magnificent city.

Al Fahidi Fort, built around 1787 and which now houses the Dubai Museum, once stood sentry at the land entrance to the town. Now its wonderful exhibits trace the path of life in the days before the discovery of oil through colourful dioramas.

A traditional heritage village, step back in time at the Heritage & Diving Village to watch potters and weavers practicing traditional crafts, as well as exhibits and demonstrations of pearl diving.

Sheikh Saeed’s House- The official residence of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum, who was the Ruler of Dubai from 1912-1958 and grandfather of the present Ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The house was built in 1896 and features a rare collection of historic items such as photographs and documents that describe the early 20th Century history of Dubai.
